I had a great stay at Shin Sei Bashi, with the location being excellent for local food and shopping. The room was small yet cozy, but I was surprised by the loud cleaning staff in the mornings. I highly recommend this hotel!

I gotta say, this place had a great location! Right across from the best mochi and yummy desserts, plus it’s super close to shopping and the station. The cozy room was nice - perfect for a city trip! I loved the breakfast idea; the local buns downstairs were delicious, and much better than the usual hotel stuff.
The bathroom setup was a nightmare! The shower and toilet combo made the entire floor wet, which was really inconvenient. Plus, the room was tiny, so it felt a bit cramped for two people. I expected better for the price I paid.

Menu for breakfast would be better with larger portions.

I recently stayed for three nights at Shin Sei Bashi while on a leisurely trip, and I was thoroughly impressed. The check-in was effortless, and my room was surprisingly cozy with a lovely view over the canal. The location is unbeatable, just five minutes from the TRA station and right across from delectable dessert spots like Miyahara. I particularly enjoyed the idea of getting breakfast from a local shop downstairs—it was a fantastic change from ordinary hotel meals! Plus, the reception staff gave me a helpful map and recommendations to explore nearby attractions.
I do recommend this hotel.

the location was great, very close to many restaurants and shops. the hotel staff was friendly and helped us with all our needs. the room was small but clean, with new furnishings and comfortable bedding. We enjoyed the free laundry facilities on the 8th floor, and the breakfast vouchers for delicious bao or at McDonald's or KFC were a nice touch.
Room cleaning had to be requested, rather than done by default.

Spending New Year's Eve at this hotel was amazing. Loved the fact that the breakfast was hearty and delicious. Another perk is the great location, right by the train station and near a famous candy store. The warmth of the staff and their willingness to help us made the stay memorable.
There were a couple of things that could have been better. The bathroom needed a mat for the shower as the floor was quite slippery.

I had a great stay at this hotel! the location was perfect, being close to the train station and bus stops, making it convenient to explore the city. Secondly, the staff were friendly and helpful, with Charlene going above and beyond to assist me with finding the best bus routes. Lastly, the rooms were in good condition, and I loved the extra-large double bed with a garden view.
Just a minor suggestion, it would be helpful to have more hooks and drying areas in the bathing area.
